Kakaoen i denne sjokoladen kommer fra en familieeid agroøkologisk kakaoplantasje beliggende på en åsside i høyjungelen i Quellouno., et spektakulært og vakkert sted. Noen av trærne på plantasjen er over 80 år gamle og produserer kakao som er beriket med bemerkelsesverdige smaksnoter. Vi brukte lang tid på å eksperimentere med ulike røsteprofiler av kakaobønnene for å fremheve de delikate smaksnotene av skogsbær og fløte.
