SHIPPING COST

The shipping cost is free for all orders over € 49 with delivery within Italian territory. For orders under € 49 the shipping cost is € 4.90.

The shipping cost is free for all orders over € 98 with delivery within the European Union. For orders under € 98 the shipping cost is € 9.80.

For non-European countries, the transport cost is borne by the customer and is calculated automatically based on the place of delivery. To know the exact shipping cost, simply view the cart after inserting the desired product. In any case, the shipping cost is due if the customer is a reseller or if he has received an offer where the shipping cost is explicitly stated.

Customs fees and duties are the responsibility of the customer.

 

REFRIGERATED SHIPPING: WE CONTINUE SHIPPING THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COSTS!

If the temperature exceeds 24° C, we ship orders using special insulating packaging and ice-gel. This type of packaging resists temperatures up to 35° C for approximately 3 days. At no additional cost! Before shipping we check the weather forecast relating to our Turin warehouse, the destination location and the locations along the route (if known). We ensure that parcels are collected by the courier as late as possible in the afternoon. in case of hot weather we ship Monday to Wednesday depending on the expected transit time. And to exclude the risk of parcels being stored in a courier’s warehouse over the weekend.

 

WHAT WE ADVISE YOU TO DO

Please ensure that your delivery address does not result in your parcel being left out in the open for any length of time. Chocolate7 is not responsible for theft or damage during shipping or upon delivery. We highly recommend shipping where you can receive your package immediately. Chocolate7 is not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses or addresses where delivery results in the package remaining in a hot, humid or otherwise unsuitable environment for storing chocolate.

 

WHEN WE PAUSE SHIPPING

Chocolate7 will not ship orders if the ambient temperature is above 35°C in our and/or your location, in which case we will delay such orders. Before placing your order, please pay attention to the temperatures expected in the destination location! You can request a delay in shipping until the ambient temperature is below 35°C in your location by adding a note to your order. If temperatures above 35°C are expected in your destination location and you still request shipping, Chocolate7 will not refund or replace the melted chocolate.

 

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS

We undertake to process all orders received and paid for by 12pm the same day or at the latest by the next working day. Shipping time changes depending on the payment method chosen. The fastest ways are as follows: Paypal (also with credit or prepaid card) In case of payment by advance bank transfer, the shipment will take place when we receive confirmation of the bank credit (generally 1 or 2 working days). When paying with Paypal, it may happen that a payment review is requested which can take up to 24 hours. In this case, the order will be shipped when payment is confirmed by Paypal. You will still receive a confirmation email. We will notify you via email of the delivery of your package to the courier with the indication of the link to track the shipment directly on the courier’s website.

 

DELIVERY METHODS AND TIMES

For Choc7 di Benedetto Giovanni it is very important that you are satisfied with both our products and our service. This is why we try to be as fast and reliable as possible in processing and delivering your order. Choc7 di Benedetto Giovanni delivers to the address you communicated to us when defining the order, using DHL or UPS courier, barring exceptions. Changing the delivery address will be possible until the order is prepared which will be notified to you via e-mail. Subsequently we will not be able to change the shipping address until there is the first delivery attempt. Choc7 by Benedetto Giovanni offers you two delivery methods in your cart: – At your address; – At a DHL or UPS Point collection point of your choice. In both cases, for delivery to the address you communicated to us when defining the order, we will use the courier chosen by us. Upon delivery of the package to the courier, we will communicate the tracking number necessary to follow the shipment. The delivery of the items always means curbside. Delivery times vary – from 1 to 7 working days for deliveries in Italian territory, – from 1 to 14 days for deliveries within the European Union; the same may undergo variations due to force majeure or due to traffic conditions and road conditions in general or by act of the Authority. Standard delivery will take place at the following times: from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00, every day, except holidays, from Monday to Friday.

 

DELIVERY TO YOUR ADDRESS

The delivery of the items always means curbside. The recipient’s signature is required to accept the package. It is therefore essential that the delivery address you provide us is always manned by someone who can accept the package on your behalf. Alternatively, consider delivery to DHL points or UPS Access Points which offer longer collection times and days compared to a standard delivery, giving you greater freedom of collection. If the courier is unable to deliver your package, he will redeliver it the next working day. In some areas of Italy, if the first delivery attempt is not successful, the courier will automatically take the package to a collection point (DHL point or UPS Access Point) near the delivery address. After the second delivery attempt or after 10 days of storage at the DHL point or the UPS Access Point, the package will automatically return to our warehouse.

 

DELIVERY TO A DHL POINT OR UPS ACCESS POINT

DHL points or UPS Access Points are convenient places, such as grocery stores, bars or other local businesses, where you can easily drop off or collect your packages. These places often offer extended opening hours including weekends and evening hours to make your life easier. If you are not sure if you can be at home to receive your order or you want greater flexibility in package collection times, consider this delivery option. To locate the DHL point or UPS Access Point closest to your address, simply select the “nearest DHL or UPS delivery point” option in a search engine. You will be asked for your address and postal code and then the nearest DHL points or UPS Access Points will be proposed. This delivery method is only possible for parcels weighing less than 20 kg, which do not take up much space. Once you have identified the one you are interested in, proceed with the purchase. In the next step you will be asked for your data necessary for issuing the receipt or invoice, documents also valid for the guarantee on the items. Pay attention to the order header data because they will indicate the person who will have to collect the package when it arrives at the DHL point or the UPS Access Point. Once the package has been delivered to the DHL point or the UPS Access Point, you will receive an email from DHL or UPS informing you of the possibility of collecting the package on the same day. If the collection cannot be made by the holder of the order but by a different person, it is necessary for this person to present himself with a proxy, a copy of the official identity document of the real holder of the order (identity card, driving license or passport) and the shipment tracking number. You have up to 10 calendar days to claim the package, beyond this date the package will automatically return to our warehouse. Before collecting the package, check the opening days and hours of the restaurant. Then go to the DHL point or the UPS Access Point with an official identity document (identity card, driving license or passport) which shows exactly the name and address of the order holder (your data) and the number tracking information for the shipment you received via email.

 

COMMON TO ALL DELIVERY METHODS

The order travels with customized Chocolate7 boxes appropriately closed with customized tape. Under no circumstances are other closure materials used. Once you have received the package from the courier you are required to check: – That the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated on the delivery note or transport document; – That the packaging is intact, not damaged, wet or otherwise altered; – That no closing materials other than the Chocolate7 personalized ribbon have been used. It is not possible to verify the contents of the package until the shipment is accepted. The courier, in fact, is only responsible for the external appearance of the package and the number of packages, not for its contents. Any external damage or mismatch in the number of packages must be immediately reported to the courier carrying out the delivery, with the words “withdrawal with reserve for damaged package” or “withdrawal with reserve for open package” or “withdrawal with reserve for missing packages ” on the courier’s delivery slip. It is also required to send an email to ordini@chocolate7.com. specifying the type of anomaly found. Once the courier document has been signed, you will no longer be able to make any objections regarding the external characteristics of what was delivered. Even if the packaging is intact, please immediately check the contents of the package to verify the correspondence between what you ordered and what was delivered. Any damage, missing items or hidden anomalies must be reported within a maximum of 8 days by sending an email to ordini@chocolate7.com.

 

NON-DELIVERY OR DELAY

In the event that the Product or products purchased are not delivered or are delivered late with respect to the delivery terms of 1 to 7 working days you can, pursuant to art. 61 of the Consumer Code, invite Choc7 di Benedetto Giovanni to make the delivery within an additional term appropriate to the circumstances (“Additional Term pursuant to art. 61, third paragraph, Consumer Code”). If this additional term expires without the items having been delivered to you, you are entitled to terminate the contract (“Termination of the Contract pursuant to art. 61, third paragraph, Consumer Code”), without prejudice to the right to compensation for damages. You are not burdened by the burden of granting Choc7 di Benedetto Giovanni the Additional Term pursuant to art. 61, third paragraph, Consumer Code (“Excluded cases”) if: Choc7 di Benedetto Giovanni has expressly communicated to you its refusal to deliver the items; Compliance with the indicated delivery deadline must be considered essential, taking into account all the circumstances that accompanied the conclusion of the contract; You informed Choc7 di Benedetto Giovanni, before the conclusion of the contract, that delivery by a certain date is essential In the excluded cases, if you do not receive the items within the indicated delivery time you are entitled to immediately terminate the contract, without prejudice to the right to compensation for damages (“Termination of the Contract in Excluded Cases”). The indication of the Additional Term pursuant to art. 61, paragraph III, Consumer or Resolution Code in Excluded Cases you will have to send it to Choc7 di Benedetto Giovanni by sending a request to the addresses referred to in the art. 20. In the event of termination of the contract pursuant to art. 61, third paragraph, Consumer Code or Resolution in Excluded Cases, Choc7 di Benedetto Giovanni will reimburse you the total amount due promptly. The refund will take place in the manner set out in the order confirmation. In the event that you do not proceed with setting the Additional Term pursuant to art. 61, paragraph III, Consumer Code, or if the conditions are met, to the Termination of the Contract pursuant to art. 61, third paragraph, Consumer Code or to the Termination of the Contract in the Excluded Cases, Choc7 di Benedetto Giovanni, without prejudice to the possibility of availing yourself at any time of such remedies and/or the ordinary means of protection made available by law and, in in particular, from Chapter XIV of Title II of Book IV of the Civil Code, undertakes in any case to: give you timely communication by e-mail of the delay in delivery, indicating at the same time the new delivery deadline, if available; in case of delivery with a delay of between 1 and 3 working days compared to the new delivery term, we will refund the shipping costs if foreseen in the order and already paid, within 10 working days from the expiry of the new delivery term; in case of delivery with a delay of between 4 and 10 working days compared to the new delivery deadline, allow you to refuse delivery and terminate the contract, with consequent refund of the total amount due, if already paid, within 10 working days from the request to terminate the contract or, alternatively, if you do not wish to terminate the contract, refund the delivery costs upon request, if already paid, within 10 working days of the request; in the event of a delay in delivery exceeding 10 working days with respect to the new delivery term or, in any case, 20 days with respect to the original delivery term, offer you, upon request, the supply of a different Product of equivalent or greater value, subject to payment, in the latter case, of the difference and subject to your express consent.
