Cuna de piedra is a bean to bar chocolate maker from Mexico. Cuna de piedra was founded by a group of young Mexicans who are passionate about cocoa. Cuna de piedra’s mission is to try to raise the quality of life of all those involved in the chocolate production process, from those who plant and harvest cocoa, to those who consume chocolate. Cuna de Piedra is a tribute to Mexican cocoa. Cuna de piedra was born with the task of honoring and exalting it. Each Cuna de piedra tablet enhances what nature has left us as a legacy. In traditional cocoa supply chains there are at least 6 intermediaries before the product reaches the final consumers. Cuna de piedra does not use intermediaries, it works directly with people who are in direct contact with the land and only with those who sow, harvest and ferment in the same place, thus allowing growers to receive fair compensation for their work.
