Racine Carrée is a bean to bar chocolate maker from France. This fine chocolate bar is made with cocoa from Peru (Alto Miro). Racine Carrée Peru Alto Miro vegan milk 60% is a vegan milk chocolate (majambo) with a pleasantly sweet taste, with aromatic notes of almond, vanilla, caramel.
Majambo, with its scientific name “theobroma bicolor” is a cousin of cocoa. Rare, it is also called jaguar fruit and produces pods that contain beans. Crushed and then reduced to powder, they are an excellent alternative to classic milk and add sweetness to chocolate. The crushed majambo gives this bar a very vegetal note. Soft and with a fresh almond flavor, this chocolate is an experience to discover.
