Fjåk is the first bean to bar chocolate maker from Norway (Hardangerfjord), founded by two women, Siv Hereid (Norwegian) and Agurtxane Concellon (Spanish), in 2015. Fjåk in Hardanger dialect means “lovable”. Agur and Siv chose this name because chocolate is “the most lovable thing in the world”. Fjåk was founded to produce high quality “bean to bar” chocolate using the finest varieties of flavoured cocoa from organic and fair trade origin, to which are added the most precious ingredients of Norwegian nature. All the ingredients used by Fjåk are 100% organic. Fjåk is always experimenting with new combinations of flavors and is always testing new cocoa beans from different regions of the world, to create always new exciting chocolate. Fjåk’s packaging was designed by designer Ian Holcroft, in collaboration with Agur and Siv.
