Rio Sinu – our lovely sailing ship chocolate
sweet, floral with notes of red berries and caramel.
Rio Sinu is a Colombian cooperative. More than 100 small farmers work with the country’s autochthonous varieties.
The beans are fermented and dried in the cooperative’s fermentation center. With the sailing ship of «Tres Hombres» the cocoa is shipped to Europe, where it is roasted, conched and processed into the finished chocolate bar.

If the temperature exceeds 24° C, we ship orders using special insulating packaging and ice-gel. This type of packaging resists temperatures up to 35° C for approximately 3 days. At no additional cost!
Before shipping we check the weather forecast relating to our Turin warehouse, the destination location and the locations along the route (if known). We ensure that parcels are collected by the courier as late as possible in the afternoon. in case of hot weather we ship Monday to Wednesday depending on the expected transit time. And to exclude the risk of parcels being stored in a courier's warehouse over the weekend.
