Dark chocolate bar – Made by Mellow

Our two-ingredient Camino Verde bar is our darkest chocolate bar on 85% cocoa. It is made of just cocoa beans and cane sugar. Made from cocoa beans of Ecuador and it comes out as a very earthy and balanced chocolate bar bringing in taste notes of fudge, almonds and flowers.

Cocoa variety: Nacional, a rare variety of cocoa beans found in South America, primarily in Ecuador.

We have sorted the beans, roasted them, cracked & winnowed, ground and conched and finally tempered, moulded and wrapped it into chocolate bars. All steps done in small batches at our workshop in Copenhagen.

If the temperature exceeds 24° C, we ship orders using special insulating packaging and ice-gel. This type of packaging resists temperatures up to 35° C for approximately 3 days. At no additional cost!

Before shipping we check the weather forecast relating to our Turin warehouse, the destination location and the locations along the route (if known). We ensure that parcels are collected by the courier as late as possible in the afternoon. in case of hot weather we ship Monday to Wednesday depending on the expected transit time. And to exclude the risk of parcels being stored in a courier's warehouse over the weekend.
