Dark chocolate bar – Made by Standout
This special cacao comes from three cacao growers (Gregoria Chanta, Marcos Julca and Eradio Zurita), whose ancestors found water in the foothills of the higher part of the Dry Forest of the Adanjo Community, which is nowadays protected by an Original Beans conservation project. This small spring is enough to cultivate 1 Ha diverse cacao forest by each of the three farmers. The cacao contains about 90 % white beans, as these beans are grown in an area which is so remote that commercial hybrids did never reach it – it might be one of the purest Piura Blanco genetics existing nowadays.
