Hacienda San Cayetano – The full character one
The Hacienda San Cayetano is located in Valle Canoabo, in the west of Venezuela. Canoabo is also the name of the Cacoa variety cultivated in this region, which has a high proportion of Criollo. Criollo is considered a fine cocoa variety that is only cultivated in small areas. It is considered to be very delicate and low yielding, but if it is carefully processed, one is rewarded with an incomparable variety of flavors.
Due to the difficult political situation in Venezuela it is extremely challenging to import high quality cocoa. All the more we are pleased to be able to offer a Criollo chocolate from Rodrigo in Venezuela.
