Congo Virunga dark hocolate 70% with lemon olive oil is a sweet-tasting dark chocolate with aromatic notes of honey, lemon, citron, black cherry jam, walnut, chocolate pudding, pepper, and black tea.

This bar is the result of a sublime union between the wonderful lemon-infused extra virgin olive oil from Puglia and the 70% dark chocolate made with the finest Virunga cocoa from the D.R. Congo. Tasting this bar, you will experience a creamy and silky chocolate. The elegant aromatic notes of the cocoa blend with the citrus and peppery notes of the lemon-infused extra virgin olive oil.

The olive oil is produced in the De Carlo family’s mill in Puglia, master olive oil producers since the 1600s. Here, the olives are lovingly harvested from centuries-old trees, as if in a sacred ritual, and then stone-pressed together with organic lemons within hours of harvest. The result is a delicate, green elixir, rich in the typical aroma of the magical land of Puglia.
